Carrollwood Day three-way star Darius "Tank" Bing has received a formal scholarship offer from NAIA program Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill., Patriots coach Lane McLaughlin said.

One of at least three Patriots receiving considerable small-school attention, Bing (5-foot-5, 160 pounds) ran for 1,022 yards, had 398 receiving yards, scored 22 touchdowns and registered 99 tackles last season.

McLaughlin said Bing also continues receiving interest from Division II West Alabama.
