Carrollwood Day QB Vidal Woodruff, a Robinson transfer who helped lead the Patriots to their first playoff berth in his lone season at the school, will sign Wednesday with NAIA program Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas.

Pats coach Lane McLaughlin confirmed Woodruff will sign at the school's 12:30 p.m. ceremony Wednesday. Woodruff is expected to immediately compete for the starting job for a program that finished 0-10 last season.

Woodruff completed nearly 62 percent of his passes (96-for-155) for 1,649 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions last fall. He also ran for 246 yards, leading the Patriots (10-2) to the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
