Central kicker Brandon Miller is doubtful for Friday’s game at Hernando because of a back injury, his father, Bob said Tuesday.

Brandon Miller is one of the area’s top kickers and was ranked by the National Camp Series as one of the top junior kickers in the country.

“I think we’re going to take this week off,” Brandon’s father said.

Miller took a few hits in last week’s 52-0 loss to Nature Coast. He had already been nursing a sore back from kicking five days a week.

His father said Miller is receiving chiropractic and muscle treatments and that he hopes to return for next week’s game against Springstead.
