Internet scuttlebutt suggests Tampa Catholic football standout Christian Green is a heavy lean to Florida State, but the highly touted WR prospect suggested Friday the Seminoles still have some competition.

“I’m looking at three schools,” Green said, referring to FSU, Florida and Georgia. “I’m trying to give everyone a fair shot.”

The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder will get an up-close look at the Gators this weekend. When reached via cell phone Friday night, he was on his way to Gainesville with his mother for his official visit.

“I’m going to see what they have to offer,” Green said.

Green already has tripped to Georgia. He’ll check out FSU in two weeks.

“I feel comfortable with all three of them,” said Green, a consensus top-100 national recruit who played QB at TC.

What about Florida is most appealing?

“The winning,” Green said. “They win. And they have a family environment. I’ll get a better feel for that this weekend.”
