Tampa Catholic QB Christian Green, a heralded WR prospect, said he enjoyed his official visit to Florida last weekend and currently has the Gators even with Florida State and Georgia with National Signing Day just two weeks away.

“It went good,” Green said. “I met a lot of the new coaching staff, and that was good. And I talked to a lot of the incoming freshmen that just got there.”

He also got to dine at coach Urban Meyer’s house.

“I think that was one of the better parts of it,” Green said. “The whole trip was good.”

Green previously visited Georgia. He will trip to FSU on Jan. 29.

“Right now, I’m trying to give everybody a fresh shot,” Green said. “I’m really looking into it. It’s exciting, but I don’t let it overwhelm me.”

Green said he could make a public commitment shortly after returning to Tampa from FSU.

“I’m looking forward to (that trip),” he said. “I really want to see what they have to offer. Hopefully, I’ll have a good time.”
