Tampa Catholic QB Christian Green, who is being recruited as a WR, was lauded for his recent performance at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and its practices.
Rivals.com recruiting analyst Barry Every attended the practices and the game, and this week has offered up his awards from the event.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Green was mentioned twice.
-In the “fastest player” category, he was named honorable mention … behind only one other player -- heralded RB Lache Seastrunk of Temple, Texas.
-He was the lone honorable mention pick in the “best after the catch” category. The top honor there went to California WR Robert Woods.
Green will visit Florida this weekend. He’s also considering Florida State and Georgia.
