Jefferson receiver Chris Moore, still recovering from recent hernia surgery, said Monday that Cincinnati is atop his collegiate wish list, which includes 15 offers.

Moore has an official visit scheduled for Sept. 25, when the Bearcats host Oklahoma at Paul Brown Stadium. He hinted if all goes well, he could commit before returning home.

"They throw the ball a lot and they don't have any freshman receivers so all the receivers are older," said Moore, who also has offers from the likes of Michigan State, Auburn, Boston College and West Virginia. "So the chances of me playing earlier are greater."

The 6-foot-1 Moore, who totaled nearly 800 receiving yards in 2009 and had a breakthrough performance in the spring jamboree against Plant, endured the stifling humidity to watch his teammates win the 'A' Division of the USF Sling 'n Shoot seven-on-seven tournament over the weekend.

He said he hopes to be cleared in time for preseason drills, which begin Aug. 9, but won't be sure until a check-up Tuesday.

"My doctor won't let me run, but otherwise I feel fine," he said.
