Seminole and Mosley remain scoreless through the first half of play in Friday's Class 5A girls soccer state semifinal at University of Tampa's Pepin Stadium.

The Warhawks (19-2-2) have had the better run of play through the first half, although both teams have two shots on goal at the break. Seminole's Melanie Benner, Sierra Lelii and Megan Lawrence all had good looks at goal but couldn't ring the back of the net.

Mosley (19-3) tested Seminole goalkeeper Casey Merson in the half's closing seconds, sending a high-looping ball toward goal that forced Merson to reach high above her head to prevent the ball from sneaking under the crossbar.
