Clearwater Central Catholic states its case

Clearwater Central Catholic made a statement over the weekend by winning the OVA High School Showcase in Orlando. The Marauders (9-0) won 2-0 against Edgewater, Orange Park, Anclote and Gulf Coast and defeated Vero Beach 2-1.

Rachel Miller was the defensive leader with 69 digs in the tournament. Casey Moore led the offense with 95 assists. Shea Hamilton had 33 kills and Rachel O'Dell added 28 kills. Katie Moore had 20 kills and 16 blocks. Maria Jose Amundaray added 42 digs. And Christy Moore had 12 blocks.

CCC next plays at home Thursday against Tampa Bay HEAT.
