Clearwater Chargers produce another stellar recruiting class

It was another super signing day for area high school soccer players who play club for the Clearwater Chargers.

There were 19 Chargers players who signed their national letters of intent during a ceremony at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa on Wednesday.

Last year, the club had a record 27 players sign.

Here are the players who signed on Wednesday.

Boys: Wesley Charpie (Tarpon Springs), USF; Nicholai Hammer (Countryside), Furman; Tanner Guy (East Lake), Methodist; Hunter Maricle (Countryside), Virginia Tech; Jagger Martinez (Countryside), Northwestern; Alex Politis (Tampa Prep), Rollins.

Girls: Arielle Anahory (Mitchell),  Eckerd;  Lindsey Brown (Northeast) Lee; Torey Camporini (CCC), Fairfield; Jennifer Casey (Shorecrest), Brown; Auburn Cherry (Mitchell) USF; Lindsey Cooper (CCC), Florida; Emily Divito (SPC), Wellesley; Sierra Lelii (Seminole), Nova; Jen Marzi (CCC), Souheastern Louisiana; Breana Pullara (Mitchell), Thomas; Linzy Rakestraw (Plant), Boston College;  Taylor Richardson (Berkeley Prep), Vanderbilt; Rebecca Rinkevich (Plant), Davidson.
