Cougars' Ronacher hospitalized

Countryside senior defensive back Mitch Ronacher was transported to Tampa General Hospital after what appeared to be a helmet-to-helmet collision in the second half of the Cougars' 47-20 win at Tampa Bay Tech.

The good news: It may just have been a precautionary measure.

"He seemed to be okay," Cougars coach John Davis said. "He had movement in all of his extremities. I think he's fine; it's just a precaution-type deal. He's a very tough kid, and we need him back."
