Tarpon Springs hired Countryside assistant Brian Nay as offense coordinator.

Nay was the Cougars’ wide receivers coach the past two seasons and served as Gibbs' offensive coordinator in 2009.

Spongers coach Ron Hawn was searching for an offensive coordinator since he was hired permanently in December. Atif Austin, the previous coach, had served as offensive coordinator.

Nay will have to work with plenty of new faces on offense, especially at the skill positions. The Spongers graduate quarterback Louis Pappas, running back Kenny Blanch and receivers Dondre Daley and Runaldo Wright.
