Countryside's Cody Chmelik gets his first offer

Countryside safety Cody Chmelik received his first offer Saturday from Stetson, which will start playing football in 2013.

Chmelik, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound allcounty pick and A student who is already academically qualified, had 28 tackles and 7 pass break-ups this season for the Cougars.

Stetson will play in the Pioneer League in 2013 after reviving it's football program.
