Countryside senior goalkeeper Danny George has verbally committed to Florida Gulf Coast University.

George was a second-team all-county selection last season and has anchored the Cougars in goal again this season. He is also the starting goalkeeper for the Clearwater Chargers U18 academy team.

Florida Gulf Coast was 12-6-2 in 2011 and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
