Countryside quarterback Gray Crow was involved in a car accident last week hours before playing rival East Lake.
Crow, a Miami recruit, was traveling east on Main Street when a car pulled out in front of him. The other driver was cited and taken to a hospital. Crow refused medical treatment.
"I felt fine," Crow said. "It was just a scary moment. I was concerned about the other woman. I wanted to make sure she was okay. As for me, I just wanted to make sure I was ready for kickoff."
Crow was 7-of-22 for 55 yards and two interceptions in the Cougars' 27-21 victory, which extended their regular-season win streak to 16 games. Crow felt no aftereffects from the accident and said he is ready to play against Largo on Friday.
"I'm ready to go," Crow said.
