Countryside is known as Placekicking High for its penchant for producing quality players at that position. After all, the Cougars have had six kickers go on to college in the past nine seasons.

Ryan Halter appears to be the next in a long line of impressive kickers.

Halter, who is taking over kicking duties from William Griswold, did well at two kicking camps this month, winning the field goal competition at the USF kicking and punting camp and the field goal cometition and overall championship at the Chris Sailor Nike kicking camp in Fort Lauderdale.

He also has attended camps at Florida State, Florida Atlantic and Louisiana State.
