Countryside’s Jeffrey George has committed to play soccer for East Tennessee State University, a Division-I school in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

George plays for the Clearwater Chargers Academy U18 developmental team. Due to the rules of the USSDA, George was not allowed to play high school soccer this year. He played the previous three seasons for the Cougars and was on the team that made it to the state semifinals two seasons ago.

He was named to the Times' all-county first team last season while playing for coach David Sica.
