How anxious is Countryside OT Tyler Moore to become a Nebraska Cornhusker?
According to Moore’s father, the talented junior will attempt to graduate high school a semester early so he can enroll at Nebraska in 12 months.
“He has decided to get busy with his school work so he can graduate early and enroll next January -- so he can go through spring practice with the team before his first fall in college,” Brian Moore said. “The Nebraska coaches keep saying the same thing. They wish they could take him now. They say they could use him this coming fall.”
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Moore is likely to be ranked among the country’s top prospects next season. In 2009, he anchored a dominant Countryside line.
Moore committed to Nebraska last fall; Florida was his runnerup.
He recently received an invite to play in the 2011 U.S. Army All-America Game.
