Countryside lineman Mike Wiszowaty signed with the Merchant Marine Academy this week, former Cougars coach John Davis said.

Wiszowaty, the son of former Dixie Hollins coach Mark Wiszowaty, was a three-year starter for Countryside and part of the best offensive line in the county last season. He helped clear the way for Alton Taylor to rush for more than 1,900 yards.
