Clearwater junior Chase Harvey led all golfers by firing 3-over 39 Tuesday to lead the Tornadoes past Largo 163-214.
Clearwater’s Matt Johnson finished second after carding 40, and Drew Curls was right behind with 41 for the Tornadoes.

St. Petersburg 157, Countryside 163, Seminole 165
St. Petersburg sophomore Jack Maguire paced the Green Devils past Countryside and Seminole in a three-way meet at Seminole Lake Country Club.
Maguire’s below-par 34 was four strokes better than the rest of the field.
M.J. Maguire, a senior and Jack’s older brother, added 38 to keep the Green Devils ahead of the competition.

Calvary Chr. 153, CC Catholic 176
On its home course, Calvary Christian defeated Clearwater Central Catholic by 23 strokes at Brooker Creek Golf Club.
Lee McCoy fired even-par 36 to lead Calvary. The Warriors also got solid scoring from Ryan Wood (1-over 37) and Ben Murray (2-over 38).
The Marauders were led by Ryan Orr’s 38 and David Slattery’s 42.

Shorecrest 215, St. Petersburg Catholic 79

Shorecrest won 10 of 12 events to outpace St. Petersburg Catholic at the Northshore Aquatic Complex.
Seventh-grader Summer Kanstoroom won the 50 freestyle in 28.99 and the 500 free in 6:11.01 to lead the Chargers.

Shorecrest 183, St. Petersburg Catholic 93

John-Gerard Farese posted convincing victories in the 100 backstroke and the 200 individual medley to lead Shorecrest to a boys/girls sweep of St. Petersburg Catholic at the Northshore Aquatic Complex.
Farese won the backstroke in 59.76 and the 200 IM in 2:12.32.
The Chargers Matt Izzo posted a winning time of 52.58 in the 100 freestyle.
“That’s a pretty decent time for this early in the season,” Shorecrest coach Patty Nardozzi said.
Izzo also placed first in the 200 free in a time of 2:05.06.
