Dante Fowler's brother transfers from Lakewood to Northeast

Lakewood receiver Donterio Fowler, younger brother of Spartan standout and Florida recruit Dante Fowler Jr., has transferred to Northeast.

Donterio enrolled at Northeast on March 22.

Lakewood coach Corey Moore said Donterio had not participated in any offseason workouts or passing leagues with the Spartans this offseason.

“That’s really about all I know about his situation,” Moore said of Donterio. “I’m just trying to coach the kids who are here at Lakewood.”

Donterio moved up from junior varsity this past season and was part of a deep receiving corps that includes standout Rodney Adams, who committed to Florida last month.
