After shining at defensive linemen camps this summer, Lakewood's Dante Fowler has turned his attention toward the 2010 season.

And the junior is not exactly modest about the individual goal he has in mind.

Fowler, a speed rusher off the edge, believes he can record 30 sacks this year.

"I've seen the offensive linemen in this county and besides (Countryside's) Tyler Moore, I don't think there's anyone that can really stop me," Fowler said. "I should be able to average three sacks a game, which would put me right where I need to be."

Last year, Fowler said he had 16 sacks, though the stats the team submitted had him with just 4 1/2.
