Leto running back Jeremy Deering will make his fifth and final official visit -- to South Carolina -- on Jan. 15-17, Falcons offensive coordinator Frank Rose said Thursday.

Deering, one of the top recruits in the bay area, will make the trip the week after making an official visit to Florida State and the week before a scheduled trip to Rutgers. He's also made official visits to Purdue and Illinois.

The Gamecocks are recruiting Deering as a wide receiver, as are the Seminoles.
