Dixie Hollins' Alex Valentin picks Stetson

Dixie Hollins wide receiver Alex Valentin has committed to Stetson, Rebels coach Mike Morey said.

Valentin considered becoming a walk-on at Miami before deciding on going to Stetson.

“It was a great financial package for Alex,” Morey said. “He won’t have to pay much out-of-pocket.”

Last year, Valentine caught 17 passes for 380 yards and four touchdowns.
