Versatile Brandon speedster Sean Watson continues generating strong interest from several Division I-AA and Division II programs, Eagles coach John Lima said Wednesday.

Lima said Watson, a second-team utility player on the Times' 2009 all-Hillsborough County team, received an offer from I-AA Virginia Military but wasn't interested. Marian University, an NAIA program in Indiana, also has made an offer.

Others expressing interest: I-AA Charleston Southern and Central Connecticut State, and Division II Texas A&M-Commerce.

"When it's all said and done, he may have a I-AA offer or two, but he's just looking for the right fit, which may be a D-II school," Lima said.
