East Bay senior outside hitter Taylor Steppy has signed with Montreat College in North Carolina, according to Indians coach Brian Adams.
Steppy, who was a three-year member of the Indians’ varsity program, will start at the private Christian liberal arts school next fall.
Montreat competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The 5-foot-8 Steppy was a team captain and led East Bay in kills and aces last fall, earning second-team all-Western Conference honors. She also holds four school records: most kills (126) and aces (65) in a season and most kills (173) and aces (108) in a career.
