Pasco versatile playmaker Trey Dudley-Giles has picked up his third offer from a Division I school according to Pirates head coach Tom McHugh. On Monday, East Carolina added its name to the mix interested in Dudley-Giles' services, joining Rutgers and Florida Atlantic as schools that have offered the 6-foot-1, 190 pound athlete.
Playing wide receiver for Pasco in 2010, Dudley-Giles caught 24 passes for 547 yards (23 yards a catch) and nine touchdowns. As a quarterback working out of the wildcat formation, Dudley-Giles was 4-for-4 passing for 102 yards and a touchdown throw. The rising senior also carried the ball 13 times for 132 yards and a score.
Defensively, Dudley-Giles picked off four passes, and on special teams, he averaged 31 yards a punt return for a Pasco team that finished the 2010 regular season undefeated at 10-0 and advanced to the Class 3A region semifinals before losing to eventual state champion Jefferson.
Dudley-Giles was a St. Petersburg Times' all-North Suncoast first team selection as an athlete following his junior season. He was also an All-Sunshine Athletic Conference first team pick at both wide receiver and defensive back in 2010.
