Jamaal Wilburn and Dylan Hastie, two of East Lake’s top football players last fall, have landed offers from Quincy, a program in Illinois that is jumping up to Division II next season and has targeted several locals.

Wilburn, who is 5-foot-8, 173 pounds, rushed for more than 1,200 yards in 2009 as the focal point of the Eagles offense. For his efforts, he was a Times second-team all-Pinellas selection.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Hastie is a defensive lineman.

He, too, earned second-team all-county honors after helping lead one of the county’s top defenses.
