Marist lost out on one East Lake football player (Bobby Lyons), but may be getting another. LB Chad Hill will visit the school early next week, Eagles coach Bob Hudson said today.
“It looks like a pretty good opportunity,” Hudson said.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Hill was a three-year starter.
“He was my defensive captain,” Hudson said. “He made all the defensive calls.”
According to Hudson, Hill has offers from quite a few Division II programs. Marist plays at the I-AA level.
“I think he’s a guy who has always tried to go bigger,” Hudson said.
