East Lake's Jennings another local hoopster to break 1,000 career points

East Lake junior Amber Jennings surpassed 1,000 points for her high school career over the holidays. Jennings broke the mark on her first basket against Indian Rocks Christian in the IRC Holiday tournament. Jennings was named to the all-tournament team.

She joins a group of local players who have recently surpassed 1,000 points, including Caroline Andreassen (Calvary Christian) and Heather Percival (Northside Christian).
