East Lake coach Bob Hudson said Friday that sophomores Artavis Scott and Mason Cole have both been offered by Florida State.

Both had breakout seasons in the fall for the Eagles, who reached the region finals for the first time and lost to eventual state champion Plant.

Scott, a Times' all-Pinellas County first-teamer, had 54 receptions for 1,158 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. Cole, also a Times' first-teamer as an offensive tackle, helped pave the way for Tyler Lane to gain more than 1,000 yards rushing.
