Ely not in uniform

Plant junior Phillip Ely was on the field before the Panthers' game against Jefferson, leading cheers, giving high fives and chest bumps for pregame warmups, but the injured signalcaller was not in uniform, dressed in shorts and without pads.

Jefferson senior defensive back Rodney Mills is not playing. He injured his shoulder in last week's game against Newsome.
