Former Central star DuJuan Harris could get his first taste of the NFL this week.

The Jacksonville Jaguars promoted the former Bears star from the practice squad to their active roster Wednesday.

Harris, a rookie out of Troy, has yet to appear in an NFL game. The Jaguars list him as the team's No. 4 running back.

In 2006, Harris had one of the best seasons in Hernando County history, rushing for 1,685 yards at Central before moving onto Troy. He tallied 27 rushing TDs and more than 2,600 rushing yards during his college career before joining Jacksonville's practice squad this year.
