FACA all-star baseball games on tap

The Florida Athletic Coaches Association all-star baseball games are this weekend at Fireman's Field in Sebring.

The North and South all-stars play at 11 a.m. Saturday, followed by the East-West game at 2:30 p.m. The overall championship is Sunday, 30 minutes after the consolation matchup, which starts at 11 a.m. 

Local players on the West squad are King 1B Keon Barnum, Bishop McLaughlin SS/2B Ty Cooler, Seminole CF Brett Phillips, Bloomingdale SS Richie Martin, Tarpon Springs P Michael Dunnigan, Wharton SS/2B/3B/P Collin Woody, Land O'Lakes LHP/DH Brad Hencke and Dunedin RHP Colyn O'Connell. Tarpon Springs' Dickie Hart is an assistant coach for the West as well.

East Lake RHP Eric Hanhold is on the North squad.
