Osceola senior point guard Hannah Demarest had a pretty memorable week, going over the 1,000-point mark for her prep career. She also had a triple double against Pinellas Park and scored 22 points as Osceola beat Gibbs for the first times in years.

The Warriors are off to a 5-2 start this season, one of their best starts in the past decade. Demarest, who has played with the team for four years, saw the Warriors go winless two straight seasons before breaking through last year.

"It's been really nice to be part of a winning team," Demarest says. "...We've been really working to build the program, and it's nice to see it finally come around."
