The Florida High School Athletic Association announced the University of North Florida will continue to host the track and field finals through 2015 with a condensed format.

The finals for all four classifications, which were held over two weekends in May, now will be one weekend with two classifications competing each day. The organization said the new format will attract larger crowds. This year’s finals are May 2-3.

The districts and regions remain the same, as well as the qualification standards to advance to state.  Class 1A and 2A will have a week off before the state meet.
