Wiregrass Ranch senior Marcus Guzman will miss Tuesday night’s Class 7A region semifinal against Steinbrenner after being ejected last week.

Guzman has been suspended for three weeks by the Florida High School Athletic Association, spokesman Corey Sobers said in an email.

The Bulls outfielder was ejected from Saturday’s 5-2 win over Countryside after making a wide turn and being caught in a rundown. He finished the game 2-for-2 with an RBI.

Guzman is batting .312 with 12 RBIs this spring.
