Anclote is looking for a new baseball coach after the resignation of Frank Fischer.
Fischer resigned to spend more time with his family, Sharks athletic director Heidi Michaels said Friday.
Anclote finished 4-16 last season in Fischer’s first year with the team and the program’s second year overall. Fischer is also a math teacher at Paul R. Smith Middle School.
The Sharks posted the job opening this week and have already received a few phone calls from possible applicants. Michaels said the school hopes to fill the position in the next two weeks.
“We’ve got fall ball starting up in a few weeks, and we want to get rolling with that,” Michaels said.
