Fivay RB Kyrie Rodriguez has signed to play football and run track at the University of the Cumberlands, Falcons track coach Matt Durchik said Thursday.
Rodriguez was second in Pasco County with 1,085 rushing yards last season. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound senior also tied for the team lead with eight touchdowns.
Rodriguez helped Fivay to a 7-4 record and a trip to the playoffs in its first full season of varsity football.
Falcons WR James Bullock has also signed with the NAIA school in Kentucky.
