Fivay's Schoonover signs with Thomas University

Fivay golfer Jake Schoonover signed with Thomas University today, the Falcons said.

Schoonover was one of the North Suncoast’s top golfers throughout his high school career. He shot a team-best 75 at this fall’s Class A, District 9 tournament to help the Falcons finish second. 

Schoonover earned HomeTeam Hot Shot of the Week honors in September thanks to a 5-under performance that helped Fivay beat Zephyrhills and Hudson.

Thomas University is an NAIA school in Thomasville, Ga.
