Will Allen, OT, Springstead (6-foot-7, 278 pounds)

The latest: The Eagles senior has recently landed offers as a preferred walk-on at Florida and UCF, Springstead assistant Dustin Kupcik said. Vanderbilt also offered him a spot as a preferred walk-on a few weeks ago.

Offers: Georgia Southern, Bethune-Cookman, Harvard, Penn, Alabama State

They say: Rivals.com ranks Allen as a two-star prospect. After his final high school season, he was selected for the Florida Athletic Coaches Association’s North-South All-Star Game.

We say: Allen was a first-team all-North Suncoast selection this fall. His size, strength and leadership were pivotal for Springstead’s run game and helped his team finish 9-2 as Class 6A, District champions.
