The recruiting stock of Land O'Lakes tight end Kent Taylor continues to soar.

Over the weekend, the 6-foot-5, 220 pound Taylor picked up another major offer, this one from the University of Florida according to Land O'Lakes head coach Brian Wachtel.

That brings the total count of BCS schools to offer Taylor up to nine.

Taylor recently added offers from Miami, Illinois and Florida State in the past couple of weeks to go along with earlier offers from Oregon, Purdue, Kentucky, North Carolina State and Cincinnati.

Taylor, the son of former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive lineman Rob Taylor, caught 35 passes for 571 yards and nine touchdowns at Land O'Lakes in 2010. One of the bay area's top recruits for the class of 2012, Taylor is listed as a three-star prospect by scout.com.
