First, Miami invited Tarpon Springs tailback Adrian Golden to a game.

Now, the Florida Gators have followed suit.

Golden attended Miami’s game over the weekend against Oklahoma as the Hurricanes’ guest. While In South Florida, he also went to a recruits’ reception, but he did not visit the campus.

According to Spongers coach George Kotis, the Gators invited Golden, who has rushed for more than 700 yards this season, to their game in two weeks against Arkansas.

Kotis does not know if it will be an official of unoffical visit.

A year ago, Golden played at Gulf. One of his teammates last season was heralded TE/DL Leon Orr, a Florida commit.

The Gators’ level of interest is not yet known. Ditto for Miami.

Both teams have pretty good numbers at tailback.
