Countryside defensive back Alex Dixon attended last Saturday’s USF-FSU game in Tallahassee as a guest of the Seminoles.

He had good reason to be there.

Though only a junior, the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder has two scholarship offers. One is from West Virginia; the other is from FSU.

“He’s getting all kinds of interest,” Cougars coach John Davis said.

According to Davis, the ‘Noles also like another Countryside junior -- middle linebacker Terry Johnson, who is 6-foot, 205 pounds.

“He has no offers yet,” Davis said. “But Florida State and a bunch of others are really interested in him.”
