Kristian Robinson threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns as the Yellow Jackets posted a second straight dominating victory in Class 6A, District 8 play.

Lennard’s only points came on a kick return, marking back-to-back shutout performances by the Blake defense.

Ricardo Brown caught a 72-yard touchdown from Robinson and the others went to Juwan Burgess and Corey Bennett, who also had 13 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Marquis Daniel added an interception return for a score, and the Yellow Jackets also had a special teams touchdown when Randall Tucker blocked a punt and Donte’ Glover took it in.

“The kids performed very well,” said Blake coach Darryl Gordon.

The Yellow Jackets improved to 2-2 overall, 2-1 in district play while Lennard fell to 0-4, 0-2.
