CLEARWATER — The Warriors went back to their roots to win their second game. Calvary Christian stuck to a devastating ground game that produced 377 yards rushing and a 41-13 victory over Northside Christian.

Derek Barnes ran for a team-high 148 yards and scored three times. Jeremy Wood had 95 yards rushing.

The ground game was necessary to make up for the loss of quarterback Allen Barnes, who missed his second game of a three-week suspension for violating school conduct rules.
