Football: Clearwater Central Catholic 23, Lemon Bay 0

Once again the Marauders’ defense came through, recording the fourth shutout this season.

CCC held Lemon Bay to 75 yards of offense. But the Marauders had trouble putting the game away in the first half. Matt Fosnacht hit a field goal and Dominic James returned a blocked punt for a touchdown to give CCC a 9-0 lead at the half.

In the third quarter, James scored on a 3-yard run to put the game out of reach.
