The visiting Marauders cruised in their Class 3A, District 5 opener Friday, relying on big plays to take a 46-0 lead by halftime.

In the first half CCC (3-1, 1-0) scored seven touchdowns, all on plays of 20 yards or longer. Demetri Royer returned an interception 38 yards for a score. Diquan Walker had touchdown runs of 20 and 85 yards. CJ Cotman returned two punts for scores, the longest coming on a 55-yarder. And JT Steele scored on a 93-yard run.

A running clock was used in the second half. Yanni Ramos kicked an 18-yard field goal to round out the scoring.
