The Barons held a seven-point halftime lead but were unable to hold on in the nondistrict game. St. Petersburg Catholic got the ball with 57 seconds left in the fourth quarter with no timeouts but could not get within field-goal range. Barons coach Steve Dudley said Markqus Ruppell, Adrian Snead, Joseph Uhatafe and kicker Garrett Vallario had big games in the losing effort.
