Frostproof (4-0, 1-0) gave the Hurricanes (1-3, 0-1) a rough welcome back to the Florida High School Athletic Association’s district play. The Bulldogs scored 35 points in the first half and rolled to the victory in the Class 3A, District 4 matchup.

After a season-opening win over Santa Fe Catholic, Bishop McLaughlin has allowed at least 47 points in its last three games - all losses.

The Hurricanes will try to regroup against Lakeland Christian in a district game on Oct. 4.
